Phulara Ridge Trek

Phulara Ridge Trek is a 6-day Himalayan trekking adventure in Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand, India, starting and ending in Sankri. The route passes through forest trails, alpine meadows and the panoramic Phulara Ridge, with views of peaks including Swargarohini, Kedarkantha, Bandarpoonch and Kalanag when weather permits. Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri — Approx. 220 km drive, around 10 hours. Overnight stay in Sankri.

Day 2: Sankri to Sikolta — Approx. 7 km trek, 5–6 hours, ascending through forest trails to around 2,850 m / 9,400 ft. Tent stay.

Day 3: Sikolta to Bhoj Gadi — Approx. 4–5 km trek, 4–5 hours, ascending to around 11,100 ft. Views may include Kedarkantha, Dhunda Top, Lekha Top, Vijay Top and Swargarohini. Tent stay.

Day 4: Bhoj Gadi to Pushtara via Phulara Ridge — Approx. 8.4 km, 6–7 hours. Cross the ridge at around 12,150 ft, then descend to Pushtara at around 9,500 ft. There is no reliable water source on this stretch; carry sufficient water from camp. Tent stay.

Day 5: Pushtara to Taluka, then drive to Sankri — Approx. 8 km descent to Taluka, 5–6 hours, followed by an approx. 12 km drive to Sankri. Hotel stay.

Day 6: Sankri to Dehradun — Approx. 220 km drive, around 10 hours. Arrival is commonly estimated for early evening but depends on road and weather conditions.

This is a moderate trek involving sustained ascents and descents at high altitude.
