Day 1 – Rishikesh to Lohajung

Your adventure begins at 5:30 AM from Live Free Hostel, Rishikesh. As the city fades behind, the journey winds along the turquoise Alaknanda River, passing through sacred confluences — Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag.
The road gradually climbs through pine forests and charming villages until you reach Lohajung (7,600 ft) — your first Himalayan base. The crisp mountain air, the smell of wood smoke, and snow peaks in the distance set the tone for the days ahead.

Day 2 – Lohajung to Bekaltal
📍 Highlights: Oak & Rhododendron Forests, Frozen Bekaltal Lake

The real trek begins! The trail ascends gently through enchanting oak and rhododendron forests, their branches often heavy with snow. Sunlight flickers through the canopy, and birdsong accompanies you all the way up.
By afternoon, you’ll reach Bekaltal (9,600 ft) — a pristine lake tucked amid snow-clad woods. In winter, the lake turns into a sheet of frozen glass, reflecting the surrounding pines. Spend the evening by a warm campfire, sipping soup under a sky filled with stars.

Day 3 – Bekaltal to Brahmatal Campsite

By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at the Brahmatal Campsite (10,500 ft) — surrounded by silent peaks and untouched snow. The atmosphere feels otherworldly — calm, cold, and completely pure.

Day 4 – Summit Day: Brahmatal Top (12,250 ft) & Return to Camp

Terms & Policies
Booking Policy
- Bookings can be made by paying a minimum of 30% advance of the total package cost.
- The remaining 70% payment must be completed at least 7 days before the trip start date.
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation is issued only after advance payment.
- Once payment is made, a Booking Confirmation Email/Message with complete details will be shared.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans may change — so here’s our fair and transparent cancellation process:
- Cancellation before 30 days: 90% refund of the total package cost.
- Cancellation before 15–29 days: 70% refund.
- Cancellation before 7–14 days: 50% refund.
- Cancellation within 7 days of departure: No refund.
Note:
- Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days of cancellation.
- If the trip is cancelled or postponed by Trip N Tales due to weather, natural calamity, or government orders — customers may choose either a full refund or trip reschedule.
Refund Policy
- Refunds will be processed only through the original payment method.
- Any convenience fee or payment gateway charges are non-refundable.
- Refunds will be initiated after verifying cancellation eligibility.
Health & Fitness Policy
- Trek participation requires basic to moderate fitness levels.
- Participants with chronic health conditions (asthma, heart issues, BP, etc.) must inform the Trip N Tales team in advance.
- For safety reasons, the trek leader may deny participation if a traveler is deemed medically unfit.
Weather & Route Policy
- Trip N Tales reserves the right to change the itinerary, route, or schedule due to unexpected weather or natural calamities.
- No refunds will be made for such changes due to force majeure events (landslides, heavy snow, road blockage, etc.).
- The safety of our guests remains our topmost priority.
Safety Policy
- All treks are supervised by certified trek leaders and include first aid & emergency equipment.
- Smoking, alcohol, and drugs are strictly prohibited during the trip.
- Any misbehavior, indiscipline, or rule violation may lead to immediate removal from the group without any refund.
Luggage Policy
- Each participant may carry one rucksack/backpack (up to 10–12 kg).
- Additional luggage can be stored at the base camp (if available).
- Porter or mule service can be arranged on request at extra cost.
Travel Insurance Policy
- It is strongly recommended that travelers take travel insurance covering cancellations, accidents, or medical emergencies.
- In case of any medical evacuation or emergency, all expenses shall be borne by the participant.
Photography & Media Policy
- Photos and videos captured during the trip may be used by Trip N Tales for promotional, social media, or marketing purposes.
- Participants who do not wish to appear in media content must inform Trip N Tales in writing before the trip starts.
Liability Policy
- Trip N Tales is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
- The company is not liable for trip delays or cancellations due to weather, strikes, or natural disasters.
